About NEET

What is NEET?

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the single national entrance examination for admission to medical and dental undergraduate courses across India, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
NEET-UG is the gateway to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses in all government and private medical colleges in India. It replaced all state-level and institution-level medical entrance exams, making it the single most important examination for aspiring doctors in the country.
Conducted annually by NTA, NEET tests students on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany + Zoology) at the Class 11 and 12 level. Over 20 lakh students appear for the exam each year, competing for approximately 1.08 lakh MBBS seats across the country.
